“ Stopped in for a quick bite on our way to Acadia and left with a smile. Service was so cozy and friendly (got some local recs!), reminds me of the way commerce used to be. Doughnuts are some of the best I’ve had (honestly, better than any of the hot names in Portland). Coffee is flavorful and full-bodied. Then you walk in & it’s the most adorable little shop & you are greeted by Alexis, who was so extraordinarily kind to us, inviting my daughter to play in her yard. She indulged my chatter with delight (thank you) & we even got to meet some of her beautiful family. Now onto the donuts... holy smokes!!! Y’all, I’ve never had a fresher, more delightful bite of sweet carby goodness in my life. My husband & daughter 10/10 agreed. “ Our intent was to find a local place for homemade donuts that wasn’t a Dunkin’. This shop exceeded all expectations for the local hometown experience. The donuts were fabulous. It was like walking into someone’s home kitchen. We had a mix of fresh and a few “day old” donuts but honestly, even the day old donuts were moist and delicious. Highlight donuts: maple bacon, cinnamon sugar, lemon, regular glazed, chocolate covered.. (My family says basically all of them!) The price was a little more expensive than a chain donut shop, but you are not only getting tremendous quality but you are supporting a beautiful family and their ministry! ”
“ I am so glad my GPS took me the long way to MDI today. I locked my wheels up to turn around when I saw a sign that read "sweet potato donuts." Sign me up! Adorable shop. Attentive keeper. Fresh donuts. I was SO glad to see they are fried. Everywhere bakes them. That's cake, not donuts. The lemon-iced and cranberry orange-iced were our favorites. The toddler with us loved the old fashion! Adorable crochet items made by a very talented young lady, too! God bless. ”
